 History of WRAP-N-MAT® Wraps: 

As a mom of four school-aged children Bonnie Stromme of Loveland, Colorado realized that there had to be a “Green alternative” to the plastic sandwich bag. "We grab baggies out of the drawer without even thinking about how many we waste in a single week!" One day, out of pure necessity (having six sandwiches but only three baggies left in the drawer) she improvised and used a paper towel and masking tape and created the first alternative prototype.

Some Facts about WRAP-N-MAT® Wraps:

WRAP-N-MAT® _^Wraps are the only RE-USABLE sandwich wrap and placemat in one. Simply place the sandwich or other snack food on the mat and fold the WRAP-N-MAT® _^Wrap from left to right, top to bottom. Close the hook and loop tab; it’s that easy. Once opened, the placemat feature works great at work, school cafeterias or picnic tables. They are easy to clean, just hand wash and air dry. Original size 12.6” x 12.6”  We now offer our Grande WRAP-N-MAT® Wrap for those who enjoy larger sandwiches or use home-made bread.

Manufactured with Different Linings:

Since its introduction in 1998, we have proudly made our WRAP-N-MAT® _^Wraps in the U.S.A.  Our "Made in the America" wraps are made with a lining of either PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or LDPE (Low-density polyethylene). 

Wraps come in a variety of beautiful prints and patterns that change monthly. We can also customize the WRAP-N-MAT® Wraps to showcase your organization's or company's logo.

PEVA Lined WRAP-N-MAT® Wraps:

Years ago, we started manufacturing our WRAP-N-MAT® Wraps in China with a lining made of PEVA (Polyethylene vinyl acetate).  Our art directors created our own ECO print, full of environmental symbols and slogans, which is perfect for all ages and genders. We also offer solid blue, solid tan, solid green and red/white gingham.  Wraps made in China are manfactured under Fair Trade Association-approved guidelines.  In addition, the colors on the ECO print are made with vegetable dye.  All of our China and American WRAP-N-MAT® Wraps are LEAD FREE.
